I made the mistake of getting a pumpkin croissant. Now I’m hooked. 🤤 Dirty chai was excellent as well.

Mmm, the Danish pastries are the BEST I’ve ever tasted. And the caramel pecan rolls- yum. Easiest location of their three. So glad to have DBB in Superior!

I have wanted to get here for ever...got into town today and realized we were close by and had time to go AND that they were open. Yay! I was a little overwhelmed by the selection because everything looked delicious. We grabbed a coffee and a latte and just picked some random treats to try. Out of four different pastries and two different breads, not one was less than terrific. Oh and the coffee? Also great. I'd love to gatekeep and tell you not to go but if people don't go, they won't stay open and that would stink for me. Go. Buy. Enjoy. And leave some for me.

I'm starting to feel like this is a hidden gem. Duluth's Best Bread has three locations, and of course you can get some of their goods at some local stores dispersed around the area. This however is one of my favorite locations to go to, one because it's not terribly far away from where I live, but two it has the best parking. Usually, they only have one stuff member, because I think they are still building their Superior following; however, usually whoever is on staff is friendly and pretty quick. They serve coffee in both the drip and specialty variety ( like espresso containing etc ), and they have some signature coffee drinks which are super good. I absolutely love when they have a surprise special something. Like you walk in and surprise to have the apple cinnamon scone and you can't hop up by it because it's amazing. Chocolate chip scone is generally when I go for, but I have not had one thing from them that I do not like. They're onion rosemary bread? If you haven't tried it you need to. Their baguettes are fantastic. Every time I make French onion soup I need a baguette. So yeah I literally if you have not heard of this place or if you have and have hesitated for some bizarre reason you need to go in. Bare minimum get a croissant.

Stopped there today for the first time. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant and an almond croissant. Both were divine. Perfect flaky exterior crust on both. The almond slivers were bountiful, the inside was soft, , not overly sweet, and it melted in your mouth. The flavor lingered on the palette for a long time after. I expected the ham and cheese croissant to be a bit dry. I asked if there was any mustard and was promised it will not need it. She was 100% correct. It was not dry in the least. The texture and flavor stand alone without a condiment assist. The service was fast and friendly and we liked the atmosphere. I will be back and would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Stopped in today with my kids (at the Superior location) as we had never been to Duluths Best Bread before. The workers were so friendly and sweet (2 ladies). My 4 year old was so excited to pick out a special treat I got him for being my big helper today. We loved the homemade strawberry rhubarb pop tart and loaf of bread. Also, I signed up for the text alerts and received a $2 coupon for next time. We will be back next week! So glad to have a local bread shop.

Visited them on their 2 day of opening their newest branch. Get to meet founding brothers. Their breads are sourdough based. Tried their loaf of delicious - Rosemary and Onion bread 🍞 and chocolate chip scone. Kids loved macarones. Must try!
